CIAL students emerge victorious

NEDUMBASSERY: The students of the CIAL Academy, the only one of its kind in the country attached to an airport, have come out with flying colours in the examinations conducted by IGNOU recently.  Three students of the academy secured gold medals.  Manish Venugopal got first rank in Advanced Diploma in Air Operations Management (ADAOM) and Nitha K Thomas bagged the first position in Advance Diploma in Air Cargo Management (ADACM). Veni Prasad won the first rank in MBA in (Aviation Business Management).  The success rate of the students of the academy was 98 per cent out of which 92 per cent have passed with First Class.  About 45 students were placed in well reputed aviation companies. The remaining students are undergoing On-Job-Training in CIAL.The academy plans to conduct its second anniversary along with the Convocation ceremony next month.   The original certificates will be distributed to the students during the Convocation.  The academy also conducts short term courses on Security Gadgets Training meant for the staff of security organisations in dealing with latest security equipment.  They also impart training to various agencies in and around Ernakulam like Group 4, In care services etc. sports festivals, personality development classes, language classes are also a specialty of CIAL Academy.  CIAL Management has shown keen interest in building and developing the infrastructure and facilities of the academy.   A Language Lab to teach at least two foreign languages is also on the card.
