HYDERABAD: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Monday filed a petition in the Nampally Criminal Court seeking five-day police custody of former journalist and consultant with Sricity SEZ, T Sunil Reddy, who has been arrested on charges of forgery.A bail petition was also filed and the hearing on both the petitions will come up before the Court tomorrow.In their petition, CID stated that as part of the probe, they have to make him undergo a polygraph test and get his handwriting compared by forensic experts for which they have sought his five-day custody.Reddy’s counsel has also moved a bail petition and both will come up for hearing tomorrow.Sunil Reddy has been arrested recently on charges of forging an MP’s signature and then sending a petition to the secretary of the Union Home Ministry, making allegations against DGP V Dinesh Reddy. He was remanded to 14 days judicial custody.
