THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Confederation of Residents’ Associations (CONFRA) has requested the Government to withdraw the restriction imposed on the supply of kerosene. It said that if the Civil Supplies Commissioner’s order is implemented, as much as 3,200 kilolitres of  kerosene will remain useless as stock. As it is, there is a delay of nearly 60-70 days for getting cooking gas. If the allotted kerosene is also not distributed, this would cause severe problems, said the consumer forum of CONFRA.It also demanded that the Government should carry out raids on hotels across the State to determine the source of the cooking gas cylinders used by them.

What's your reaction?
