Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the Congress party wants to divide the Hindu population and was spreading poison in the society. The Prime Minister also said that the Congress party views Muslims as vote banks. Also referring to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s win in the Haryana election results, PM Modi said all the conspiracies of the Congress party have failed.
The statement came as the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for various development projects, worth over Rs 7,600 crore, in Maharashtra via video conference. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present at the event.
Lashing out at the Congress party, PM Modi also said that the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and the Dalits stand with the BJP, and added that the BJP’s historic win in Haryana polls shows the mood of the country.
“The results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir came yesterday. Haryana has told what the mood of the nation is, and the Congress’s ecosystem/ urban Naxal was trying to mislead the people,” the PM said.
“Dalits have realised that the Congress will snatch their reservation and give it to their vote bank. The Congress has tried to mislead even the farmers of the country. But, the farmers of Haryana know who gave them the Minimum Support Price (MSP), and they are happy with the BJP. The Congress tried everything but the people of Haryana showed that they would not become the target of the party and the urban naxal groups,” he said.

“The Congress proved that it is an irresponsible party. Its leaders are trying new narratives to divide society, and are desperate to come back to power, for which they are playing nafrat ki raajneeti (the politics of hatred).
On the upcoming elections in Maharashtra, PM Modi said, “The Congress is doing politics of hatred. It is bent on destroying the country. We all have to be aware and cautious. I am sure that the people of Maharashtra will give a befitting reply to all these forces bent on destroying the society. The people of Maharashtra have to unite and vote for the BJP-Mahayuti government so that the development of the state and the country can be ensured.

WHAT PM MODI SAID ON DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
As the Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of various development projects, he said, “Today, Maharashtra is getting the gift of 10 medical colleges. The foundation stone of the upgradation of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur and the new integrated terminal building at Shirdi airport has also been laid.”
“Metro is being expanded and airports are being upgraded in Maharashtra. Various schemes related to infrastructure, solar energy and textiles are being launched in the state,” he said.
“The Foundation of the largest container port, Vadhavan Port was laid. Never before has Maharashtra witnessed development on such a large scale. Under the rule of Congress, there was massive corruption in various sectors,” he said.
“Marathi language was deemed classical language status. Dreams of crores of Maharashtrians were fulfilled, and they celebrated. I keep getting messages from them. This work is not being done by me but it was done because of your blessings,” he added.
CONGRESS ATTACKS PM
Following the Prime Minister’s address, Congress’s Pawan Khera, in an X post, slammed him and said he “used a government program to make a political speech.”
“Why should the PMO use a govt platform and a govt program to make a political speech and attack the opposition?,” Khera wrote.
“Tax payers’ money cannot and should not be used to indulge in a political speech? For that, he can use the BJP’s platform.” (sic), he added.
