Sixty days, six judges and millions of votes later, the jury announced the winner of the coveted CNN-IBN Indian of the Year Award at a glittering ceremony in the Capital on Tuesday.

Tata Motors plans air-fuelled car
Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company, has joined hands with Guy Negre, a French inventor who is working on the technology for an air-fuelled car.
The car will be built at the controversial Tata Motors Plant in Singur. Surprisingly Mamta Banerjee has agreed to this plan and has stopped her agitation at Singur.
Inside sources say, while Tata Motors will manufacture this air-Fuelled car, they have hired Mamta Banerjee to provide the air.
Musharraf contemplates a state of emergency
Pakistani President General Musharraf is reportedly considering declaring emergency in Pakistan to tide over security lapses and political instability.
In a statement he said," What Pakistan needs now is a dictator". While explaining to protesting Pakistani's. He said, "What are you worried about, nothing is going to change!"
