New Delhi: In yet another case of crime against women a engineering college girl student has alleged that she was raped by Delhi University college lecturer. Delhi Police has arrested the college lecturer on the victim's complaint.
The student alleges that she knew the accused lecturer Virendra Singh, who taught at Delhi University's Satyawati College, for quite some time She alleged that Singh entered into a physical relationship with her after promising to marry her.
But when the girl living in Delhi's Rohini area realised that Singh was duping her, she filed a rape complaint against him at the police station. According to the victim, the lecturer was preparing to marry some other girl despite promising her the same.
