Los Angeles: Actress Eva Longoria has squashed rumours of a 'Desperate Housewives' movie saying that the makers have run out of story ideas.
The actress, who played Gabrielle Solis in the hit show for eight years, said: "We won't do a movie. Marc Cherry, our creator, has said that's because we have done over 200 episodes.
The difference with 'Sex And The City' is that they only did 13 episodes a year and they were only on for six years, so they didn't ever really fully explore those characters, so you are able to do a movie," she added.
The final episode of 'Desperate Housewives' will air May 30.
