Dharmendra Pradhan says probe will reveal truth behind leak of documents from Oil Ministry
In a statement released, the organisation has questioned why key documents can't be made available publicly.

New Delhi: After the Delhi Police busted a corporate espionage ring over leak of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas document, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday said probe will reveal the truth.

"Why did they break the lock in midnight they will have to tell? Proper investigation is taking place and things will be clear after the investigation will get over," he said.

Meanwhile, trade body Assocham said the only way to rid India of such cases is by removing the secrecy regarding decision making.

In a statement released, the organisation has questioned why key documents can't be made available publicly.

Assocham Secretary General DS Rawat said, "Why should the government decision-making concerning policies which have a bearing on the corporates be shrouded in secrecy. Let all the policies be first put up on the websites as drafts and let all the conflicting interests debate, deliberate and slug it out by their legitimate arguments right in the public view."
