HYDERABAD: With the Election Commission of India (ECI) making the Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) mandatory for establishing voters identity before casting their votes, special arrangements are being made to set up Designated Photography Location (DPL) centres in the 18 assembly constituencies and the Nellore Lok Sabha segment, where byelections are being held on June 12, to provide EPIC cards to the enrolled voters who do not have them. Chief electoral officer Bhanwar Lal told reporters that the DPL centres would function from May 21.INCENTIVESBhanwarlal said he would write to the ECI and IT department to give cash incentives of five percent to those who give valid information about money being transported or distribited illegally for bypolls.FOUR NOMINATIONS ON SATURDAYFour candidates filed their nominations for byelections on Saturday taking the total nominations to 15. They are: Somidi Srinu (MCPI Parkal), K Lokanandham, (CPM Payakaraopet), M Surayarayana (CPM Payakaraopet) S. Ameen Peeran (Ambedkar National Congress Rayachoti.)
