Drunken brawl leads to firing, no one injured

No was injured in the incident. The Laxmi Sagar Police have seized a cartridge and two vehicles from the spot. No one has been held in this connection yet.The incident took place outside The Rain, a bar-cum-restaurant and a popular hangout. Police said a group of about 12 men, who had just emerged from the bar, resorted to the firing.The group had arrived at the bar late in the evening and spent sometime inside. Once they came out, one of them then whipped out a gun and fired a shot in the air. It was  well past midnight. Members of the group are believed to be in an inebriated state when this happened.Once the firing took place, there was a commotion in the area and some people informed Laxmi Sagar Police. When the PCR van arrived, 10 of them fled. Two of them, however, were still there and picked by Laxmi Sagar Police which freed them after questioning.Laxmi Sagar Police, which seem to be dragging their feet on the matter, have not laid their hands on anyone nor have they found out who were behind the incident.Preliminary investigation suggested that the group has come to the bar to meet someone. There was a drunken brawl inside the bar, but after they stepped outside, one of them fired in the air.
