BALASORE: Forest officials have arrested four poachers belonging to West Bengal on the charges of killing migratory birds flocking to the delta area of Subarnarekha river. They have been produced in the court on Monday and remanded in judicial custody.Sources said three Siberian birds, guns and a motorcycle have been seized from their possession. They have been identified as Belal Khan of Ramnagar, Jakir Alli and Sakil Alli of Miraguda and Mustaq Khan of Haripur village in West Bengal. On a tip-off, forest officials led by ranger Pramod Chandra Das raided Manunagar village under Kamarda police limits here and caught the poachers red-handed. It is during this time of the year when migratory birds flock the Subarnarekha.
