Friends murder 17-year-old youth

BANGALORE: A 17-year-old young man was murdered by his friends on Wednesday in Chandra Layout police station limits. The deceased Bharath Rahul, an ITI drop out, was a resident of RPC Layout.His friends including Nikhil, Arjun Mohan, Prabhu, Kulladeva and another youth are the accused. All the accused belong to 17-year age group, police said.According to police, Bharath had asked one of the accused Nikhil to lend his bike  on Tuesday. When he refused to give, Bharath allegedly assaulted him. Enraged by this, Nikhil and others decided to take revenge and assaulted Bharath on Wednesday at Attiguppe. Some passersby noticed a boy with injuries and informed the police, who shifted him to Victoria Hospital. Doctors declared brought dead.
