KOCHI: Hibi Eden MLA on Tuesday left for Samoan Islands to attend the international conference of the Commonwealth Parliament Association(CPA). Hibi Eden is part of the six-member team representing India at the 23rd international conference of CPA, to be held from May 24 to 30. The conference is aimed at sharpening the skills of those engaged in the field of parliamentary administration. Ponnam Prabhakar MP, speaker Nadendla Manohar of Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly, Haryana Vidhan Sabha speaker Kuldeep Sharma, Mizoram deputy speaker John Ronglana and Rajastan MLA Raghu Sarma are among the other members of the Indian delegation attending the conference. The Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of External Affairs have already issued approval for the delegation’s journey. The delegates will be the guests of the Samoan government during the conference.
