Home buyers throng to CREDAI realty expo

CREDAI Bengaluru 2012, a reality expo of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI), was inaugurated on Palace Grounds in the city on Saturday.

A number of prospective home buyers thronged to the event and veiwed the projects showcased by real estate developers. Developers noticed the demand in the affordable housing segment had shot up significantly.

More than 70 city-based developers, eight financial institutions and five Kochi-based developers are showcasing their projects in the two-day expo. Leading developers showcased their villas, row houses, plots, apartments in premium and budget/affordable housing projects.K K Malpani, founder president of CREDAI-Karnataka inaugurated the event. R Nagaraj, President, CREDAI-Bangalore, Govinda Raju, President-Elect, CREDAI-Bangalore, Faizal Rizvi, Chairman, Realty Expo, Suresh Hari, Secretary, CREDAI-Bangalore and Sushil Mantri- former president, CREDAI, participated in the event. “This year it is being held at a larger venue and is expected to bring over 10,000 visitors. In a rising interest rate regime, where residential real estate is feeling the heat, Bangalore, compared to other metros, is clocking a decent performance. CREDAI is mainly concentrating on its Bangalore market,” Nagaraj said.

The hosts announced that visitors could veiw different builders and get spot sanctions at preferential offers.
