HYDERABAD: Transport minister Botcha Satyanarayana inaugurated Anshu Force, an exclusive Force One showroom and also the city’s first ‘Force One’ Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in Lakdi-Ka-Pul on Tuesday. Anshu Force has already received 38 advance bookings within a month time for which the showroom officials plan to deliver one vehicle per day.Prasan Firodia, managing director, Force Motors Ltd said, “Force One is the first vehicle from Force motors in the personal vehicle division and there is no other variant of the model from the company as of now.” He added, “This SUV has a Mercedes engine, axle and a gearbox, licensed from the German automobile leader.” He also mentioned that with the launch of this SUV, the company is also entering into a personal vehicle division from a commercial vehicle division and also that there were no further plans of entering into the passenger car segment.The company was in a ‘sold out mode’ right after its launch in Mumbai in August 2011 and after a span of three months, it finally made its way to Hyderabad. With over 20 dealers across the country, Force motors is expected to sell over 7000 of its SUVs to customers across the country by next year.The Force One SUV has a seating capacity for seven people with features like driver information system, cruise control, audio control mounted on steering, dual A/C vents for each row and off side rear view mirror with side indicators. The vehicle also has a top speed of 160kmph and 141bhp engine power, with its ride and handling fine-tuned by the UK based Lotus Engineering. The company claims to have invested over `250 crores in assembling the parts, research and development and post-production of this particular product. “Even though the vehicle comes with a single variant, it is a complete multiple package at an unbelievable price offered by nobody else,” said  Firodia.The first three customers of the showroom were handed over the keys of the SUVs costing `10.84 lakh by the minister. Mahesh Sharma, a textile dealer from Dilsukhnagar was one of the first customers and  was delighted on receiving the keys of his speed machine.
