As the India cricket team prepares for a match with Pakistan on Sunday at New York’s Nassau County Cricket Stadium, the Delhi Police shared a lighthearted message with the NYPD.
In a social media post on X, the Delhi Police wrote, “Dear @NYPDnews, Just to tip you off: An interesting, delightful fight is expected at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium today,” addressing the New York City Police Department.

The Delhi Police also extended their wishes to the Indian cricket team for the upcoming match. “Good luck to #TeamIndia!,” they wrote.
Rohit Sharma-led India will take on Babar Azam’s Pakistan at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday.
The Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York is one of the three venues in the USA hosting matches for the much-anticipated Group A fixture of the T20 World Cup 2024 between the two countries. The US is co-hosting the ongoing tournament along with West Indies.
India have played two matches in New York – the last game against Ireland and the warm-up fixture against Bangladesh. The Men in Blue emerged victorious in both matches and displayed strong adaptability on each occasion.
In contrast, Pakistan will play their first match at the venue after suffering a defeat to the USA in their tournament opener in Dallas.
