Is that the Loch Ness monster on Apple Maps?

New Delhi: Is the shape that we can see in Apple Maps' satellite image of Loch Ness that of Nessie, the legendary monster that many believe inhabits the waterbody in the Scottish Highlands?

The giant squid like shape was also previously spotted on Google Earth about five years ago.

Andrew Dixon and Peter Thain were the first people to notice the mysterious shape on Apple Maps and they brought it to the notice of the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club.

The legend of the Loch Ness Monster has been around since the sixth century. The legendary creature's existence hasn't been conclusively proven till date and photographs and other evidences in support of its existence are much-disputed.
