BANGALORE: In a bid to mount pressure on the BJP national executive to ask Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to resign, thousands of JD(S) workers will stage a sit-in-dharna in front of the BJP headquarters in New Delhi shortly.JD(S) general secretary Y S V Datta told Express that it has been proved beyond doubt that Yeddyurappa has neither shame nor morals, to quit the office after his name figured in many land scams and hence the party has decided to bring pressure on the BJP high command to ask its CM to quit.“Our only question to the BJP is whether it sees any difference between the corruption of the Yeddyurappa led government and that of the Congress-led UPA government.If it is right to demand Prime Minister’s Dr Manmohan Singh’s resignation, then we are correct in demanding the CM’s ouster on the issue of graft,” Datta explained.Describing the Lokayukta’s indictment of Yeddyurappa as a major event in state politics, Datta said, “The CM’s exit could pave the way for the collapse of the BJP government.”
