CHENNAI: A man who went missing after allegedly being thrashed by his wife and mother-in-law during a video shoot of a reality show for a private channel, was traced and brought back from Kanyakumari on Saturday.Prince, who runs a photo studio here, was traced to Kulunaru, Kanyakumari. On August 30, Prince and his wife Minnie went to the studio of the private TV channel as guests during the shoot for a reality show, during which they shared their family issues in an attempt to sort them out. A well-known newsreader, who was moderating the show, gave opportunity to both of them to talk about their problems, while Minnie’s mother Leela was watching the proceeding from the audience gallery.When they were involved in a heated argument, Leela suddenly walked up to her son-in-law and started thrashing him. Sources said, Prince was planning to file a defamation suit against the Tamil channel that reportedly aired the show. After the incident, Prince went missing. His sister had then filed a man-missing plaint.
