BANGALORE: An electrician was electrocuted while repairing a transformer at Vegus multispeciality hospital at Malleswaram on Friday evening. The deceased has been identified as Guruprasad (30) resident of Puttenahalli.
According to police, there was an electrical problem in the hospital and Guruprasad, who had returned home from duty, was asked to fix the problem. Guruprasad was working at a transformer within the compound of the hospital, when he was electrocuted.

Conductor Falls to Death from Bus

As the bus driver applied brake suddenly on N R Road, Gopal, who was standing on the foot board of the rear door, fell from the bus. He sustained fatal head injuries and died on the spot. The body has been shifted to Victoria Hospital mortuary, the police said.

A construction worker died after he accidentally fell from the 12th floor of a building that was under construction in Cessna Tech Park, in HAL police station limits on Thursday evening. The deceased has been identified as Sridhar (40), a native of Hosakote.

However, investigations are on to know the exact cause, the police said. HAL police have registered a case of unnatural death and have booked a case of negligence against the supervisor concerned. Further investigations are going on in connection with the case.
