Understanding of god In my opinion, God is a power that is above all humanity but resides in each one of us. He determines all that should be and all that will be but he is not to be confused with a puppeteer and we can not look at him only when we need answers Religious beliefs and practices I’m a Vaishnavite by birth. I must admit I do not practicse the Sandhya- Vandanam as is expected of me but I do make it a point to spend some time in my Pooja room at home. In my opinion, that place exudes peace and energy and it is a great way to refresh and rejuvenate one’s senses.Faith in miracles Miracles cannot be viewed in isolation. It is a combination of energies.To occur, they require inputs from us in the form of hard work and prayers.Furthermore, we must believe in them.Pilgrimage sites My favourite spot would be the Tirupathi Devasthanams.The minute I step in, I am engulfed by a sense of tranquility and I feel like I am in a different world altogether.I also enjoy visiting the Marundeshwar temple in Thiruvanmiyur and the big temple at Tanjore.Belief in meditation Meditation, in my opinion, is a vital element in today’s lifestyle. One may have to overcome some inertia at the beginning but eventually, it will bring with it a sense of discipline & help you streamline your thoughts.
