HYDERABAD: Sanathnagar police booked a case against Jubilee Hills MLA P Vishnuvardhan Reddy’s brother-in-law for injuring the complainant’s father with weapons. According to police, the complainant, a doctor, stated that the MLA’s relative assaulted his father, who is also a doctor running a hospital at Motinagar. The accused, Ramchander Reddy, is also a doctor. Sanathnagar SI Venkat Reddy said that Mohammed Zubair lodged a complaint stating that Reddy, entered their hospital as a patient and attacked his father, Mohammed Osman, with an iron rod without any provocation. Osman took a building on lease from Reddy and has been running the hospital in it for the last few months. Police suspect that a dispute erupted between them after Reddy entered the hospital. Police registered a case against Reddy and began investigation.
