Murder accused CPM leader found at a restaurant with wife
Three police personal have been suspended for allowing a remand prisoner having been found meeting people without prior permission.

Thiruvananthapuram: The visuals of CPI (Marxist) leader P Mohanan, 14th accused in the TP Chandrashekaran murder case, walking along with his wife and MLA KK Lathika at a restaurant in Kozhikode has created uproar in Kerala.

Three police personal including an ASI, head constable and a civil police officer have been suspended for allowing a remand prisoner having been found at a restaurant and meeting people without obtaining prior permission. P Mohanan was returning from the jail after a check up at the Calicut medical college hospital.

The murder of RMP (Revolutionary Marxist Party) leader TP Chandrashekaran on May 4, 2012 had the political temperature in Kerala rising with the CPI(M) in the defence.

There were allegations by the RMP that the accused in the TP Murder case were given special treatment at the jail.
