KOCHI: A new 3D theatrical ride, XD MAX ride, was opened at the Wonderla amusement park here on Saturday.Excise Minister K Babu inaugurated the ride, which has the capacity to incorporate at least 180 people. It gives the viewers a bumpy and thrilling ride along a forest path akin to the Amazon Jungle. It is the latest venture of Wonderla Holidays Private Limited. XD MAX combines a 3D film with physical and environmental effects in an air-conditioned theatre. It also gives the visitors a totally new experience. They are supposed to use 3D goggles to make this a visual treat. V-Guard Industries Managing Director Kochouseph Chittilappilly, Wonderla Chairman George Joseph, Wonderla Vice-President Finance Nandakumar, MLA Benny Behanan, MLA V P Sajeendran and Kunannthunad Gramapanchayat President Shaila Noushad were also present.
