KARIMNAGAR: The National Thermal Power Corporation’s (NTPC) 500 MW capacity VII unit resumed power generation here on Tuesday.The VII unit had been shut down 15 days back due to coal shortage.On Tuesday, NTPC generated 2300 MW power against its actual capacity of 2600 MW.Three rakes of coal arrived here from Mandamarri coalmines of Adilabad district and from local Ramagundam region open cast mines, sources said.During the strike period the production at the NTPC dropped to 1500 MW due to coal shortage.
