The Metropolitan commissioner of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Neerabh Kumar Prasad on Friday instructed the zonal officers to conduct Panchayat-wise survey and serve notices on the developers of illegal structures under the HMDA Act, 2008.
The officials were asked to collect permissions given by the Panchayats in this regard. He said that all unauthorised constructions will be dealt seriously.
They are being given a chance to voluntarily apply for approvals/ regularisation of layout developments and structures, he added. During a meeting with four zonal officers on Friday, he reviewed issues relating to the illegal constructions of engineering and professional colleges, layouts, godowns, industrial establishments.
