One dies in accident

DHENKANAL: Santanu Kumar Sahoo (20) of Bahiranpur village died in a road accident at Dihadola under Parjang police limits on Saturday.Parjang police said the accident occurred when the victim’s motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck from the opposite direction. The truck was seized near Saranga. On Friday, two persons died and 20 others were injured in a truck-bus collision near Rasasingh Square under Sadar police limits.Of the 20, six critically injured were admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. The deceased were identified as Dilip Rout, driver of a mini-truck and Manoranjan Tripathy, a passenger.
