BANGALORE: An Uttar Pradesh-based painter, died after accidentally falling from the third floor of a newly constructed house in Subramanyanagar police station limits on Friday midnight.The deceased, identified as Rajkumar (22) had come to the city just 11 days ago and was working along with his other two colleagues, who also belonged to his state, in the house.According to police, the incident took place at midnight when Rajkumar, who was sleeping after consuming alcohol, tried to come down to pass urine and fell down after losing balance. Owing to severe head injuries, he died on the spot. Sudarshan, who was sleeping on the same floor, heard a big noise and came down and noticed Kumar’s body. He immediately informed the house owner, who later informed the police.Sudarshan, in his statement, said, “Rajkumar, who was in an inebriated state tried to go down to pass urine. On his way, he lost balance and fell from the third floor. Due to severe injuries, he died on the spot. I asked him to go the nearby bathroom instead of going to the ground floor.”“Kumar had come to earn money after his engagement as he was to get married next month,” he said.
