Follow us:WhatsappFacebookTwitterTelegram.cls-1{fill:#4d4d4d;}.cls-2{fill:#fff;}Google NewsFrom Alejandro Gonzalez's Babel to Nikhil Advani's Salaam-e-Ishq,layercake cinema is all over. And so I decided to connect my three stories as well. Here it goes....

Nitin Das is 30year old, alumni of IIM Lucknow. Orinally from Pune but these days in Delhi. Aarshad Mushtaq is also 30year old, born and brought up in Kashmir. 36year old Pankaj Sikka (or Oz)is engineer and management graduate. Oz is Business Analyst, settled in California.

Nitin passed out of IIM in 2001 and big bucks were waiting for him. For the next five years,it was corporate life and more money all the way. Nitin then joined one of the country's biggest news magazines as Brand Manager. But he got bored soon and felt his passion was somewhere else. He decided to quit his job. Friends and family members thought it was just suicidal. Big city, good job, great salary. If you cant find passion here then where ?

After his schooling, Aarshad moved to Delhi for his graduation. One question that everyone would ask him in Delhi was if they are also into shawl making business because kashmiris either make shawls or they are terrorists. Aarshad moved to Kashmir after few years. Started doing theatre, tv productions and short films. Money wasnt great but enough to sustain.

OZ moved out of Mumbai, did one more management course. Started switching jobs and so continents as well. Started his own little website, putting film reviews there and the site became quite popular. first published:February 02, 2007, 18:54 ISTlast updated:February 02, 2007, 18:54 IST
