Patna: In a tragic incident in Bihar, Patna-Islampur DMU Express on Wednesday ran over five people at Rajendra Nagar Station.
According to reports, the deceased include three women and two men. Railway officials and RPF team have reached the spot to inspect.
"The five were crossing the tracks and did not notice that a Patna-Islampur passenger train was approaching," East Central Railway CPRO, AK Rajak said.
They were run over and killed at around 9 PM.
