The Nirmala Hastakalkar Vikas Society (Regd) is organising Nirmal’s handloom and handicrafts exhibition at Madhubani function hall, Nizampet road, Kukatpally from July 25 to August 5.
With about 50 artisans from all over the country, the exhibition will showcase handicrafts from different parts of India, besides traditional crafts from Andhra Pradesh
The items on display will include Gadwal, Venkatgiri, Mangalagiri, Pochampally, Chirala cotton sarees and dress materials, wood carvings, cotton durries and jewellary, Hyderabad pearls, silver jewellery, imitation jewellery, and leather utility from Andhra Pradesh, Chicken work from Uttar Pradesh, Chennapatnam toys from Karnataka, Chanderi and Maheswari sarees from Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir embroidery, Kantha work from West Bengal, Block print from Haryana and Bagalpur sarees from Bihar among others.
