Mumbai: Actress and model Katrina Kaif will be walking the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week's Grand Finale for designer Ritu Beri on Saturday.
Lakme’s interpretation for this season is happy hour “by day and by night”. Katrina says, “The make-up is very wearable and the colours have subtle tones.”
When asked to choose between walking the ramp and facing the camera, Katrina said, “I still do my endorsements which I thoroughly enjoy. I have had a great time working with brands like Lakme.”
Katrina has been walking the ramp for Lakme for the past three years and says there is no coincidence that actor Salman Khan too took a stroll down the ramp this year.
“I am the face of Lakme. So where does the question arise of coincidence with Salman walking the ramp,” Katrina said.

Four days into the fashion fiesta and the Lakme Fashion Week has already been a fabulous one for Indian fashion's blue-eyed boy, Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
In the land of lehenga-choli makers, Sabyasachi’s clothes have a global look. He says, this is because - “They are in sync with fashion forecasts and yet at the same time have an Indian soul to it.”
According to Sabyasachi, Lakme Fashion Week has been a commercial success for him in terms of purchases.
There has been a paradigm shift from bridal wear to prêt this year. And this is because the prêt market is booming.
“A lot of progressive designers are realizing that the Fashion week is a great opportunity to take your collection overseas. There is a good presence of the Western audience in fashion weeks. So there has been shift from lehenga-choli to sensible clothing,” Sabyasachi said.
After attracting buyers from the Brown fashion house, Sabya is looking forward to breaking into the New York and the Paris fashion circuit.
