HYDERABAD: Indian farmers who face numerous problems in their struggle to cultivate the food and other crops will be able to resolve them with the help of a farmer web portal called www. rythubandhu.com., which was launched in the city today by C Parthasarthi, commissioner, Information & Public Relations, Govt of AP.Speaking on the occasion, Prathasarathi remarked that ‘in the present situation, the website would prove to be a very useful source of information on new trends, technologies, cost effective inputs and more efficient crop management. It would also help the agri inputs businesses to reach the farmer more effectively. He added that the time has come to introduce more novel services for the citizens also so that they are made aware of the agriculture conditions.Lakshmi Mohan, CEO of the portal, outlined the unique features of the website. She said that www.rythubandhu.com is another initiative by the organization after launching their successful monthly magazine ‘Rythu Bandhu’. She added that the website would boost internet farmer’s productivity by making available latest information. The website offers a lot of articles and information in Telugu written by agriculture experts and makes available sources of information worldwide. The website will also cover agriculture news and features, marketing of farm aids like fertilizers, chemicals, seeds, insurance cover as well.
