BANGALORE: A seminar on climate change was organised by St Joseph's Evening college on Saturday where over 400 people participated including students, organisations and environmentalists.
Speaking on the occasion Suresh Heblikar, noted environmentalist and film maker urged the gathering to be more ecoconscious, and critically understand the global climate change emissions and work together as one, to be the agents of change.The seminar was divided into two sessions, the first session focused on noted panelists presenting their papers on human

development, media, Kyoto Protocol and environmentalism in China by Dr Vinod and Prof Jeevan, Professors of the Department of Political Science, Bangalore University.

Seminar coordinator Dr Christopher Hoskins said, "We want the people of the city and state to look at climate change as a global threat and want to push the boundaries of understanding and responsibility to achieve cohesive action."
