Hyderabad: The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) of the Central Governmenton Thursday filed a petition in a local court here for permission to record statements of scam-hit Satyam Computer founder B Ramalinga Raju and other accused.
The petition, filed in the 6th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, sought permission to record statements from Satyam's former Chairman B Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju, former CFO Vadlamani Srinivas and two former executives of auditing firm Price Waterhouse S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas.
The petition will come up for hearing on Monday. This was the second petition filed by the SFIO in the court. The previous plea was rejected in the first week last month.
Meanwhile, S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas were produced before the court on Thursday after the expiry of their two-day police custody at 4 pm.
The duo, who were in judicial remand, have been shifted to the Chanchalguda jail.
