Speeding vehicle runs over leopard in Dehra Dun

Dehra Dun: A leopard was killed after being hit by an over speeding vehicle in Mussoorie area near here, a forest official said on Monday.

The incident occurred on Kuthalkhet-Sahastradhara road last night when the two-year-old leopard was crossing the road. The animal came under the wheels of the over speeding vehicle, Ramgopal, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Mussoorie, said.

By the time the forest team reached the spot, the leopard had died, he said.
