BANGALORE: The Christmas season brings out the child in us. Children on the other hand, turn out to be good and sober during this month, so that they can get as many gifts as possible from Santa Clause. Everyone knows that Santa gifts only those who have been good through out the year. In order to please everyone and celebrate his arrival, Kara4kids hosted Kara Kristmas Karnival, a carnival for children and parents at the institution.The carnival had dance and musical performances by children from the age of two to six. They danced and sang Christmas carols and lightened the place up with their smiles. The proud parents teamed with their children in some of the activities arranged for them such as painting, colouring, craft work and few games. The activities were truly a bonding session between the two, when they were drawing Christmas trees and making paper angels.The Christmas celebrations have already started in various places, it is to time to think about a gift to ask from Santa Clause. These are a few presents the kids at the carnival want for Christmas:Devaarsh, a three-year-old said, “I like Christmas because I get to play, and I also like to get gifts. I have so many toys and games. My favourites are angry birds and snakes and ladders which I play with my mother, father and grandparents. I want piranha attack game for Christmas this year.” Devaarsh’s mother on this occasion said, “This carnival is really good. I am happy that its brings a smile on my child’s face. Dev loves his toys and games and has a whole kit of angry birds. He loves Christmas and Santa. He also wrote a letter to Santa and stuck stickers on it so that Santa will like it.”Many kids who participated in the Karnival wrote letters to Santa wishing for their favourite toys and eatables. Talsha, an animal lover who participated in the karnival said, “I want ten fish of different varieties for Christmas. My favourite animals are giraffe, tiger, zebra and tigress.”Many kids who participated in the event wished that their dreams come true. Kids also wished for guitars and drums. Christmas is rushing towards us, so get greedy and wear your thinking hats on and figure out what you need for Christmas this year, Santa Clause may just give it to you if you had been good through out the year.
