ALUVA: In a novel publicity programme, Suchithwa Bodhana Yajnam (SBY) an initiative for a clean Ernakulam district in 15 years, has released ‘SBY Padayathra - 2012 Campaign Stickers’ at a function held at Renewable Energy Centre, Mithradham, Chunangamveli, near here. Fr George Peter Pittappillil, CMI director and convenor of SBY, handed over the stickers ‘Bhoomi Raksha Jeeva Raksha’ to the office-bearers of the Social Awareness Action Club (SAAC) of SH College, Thevara.R K Varghese, head of Sociology of SH College, M P Antony, director of Rajagiri Outreach, Kalamassery, Rev Jose Cletus Plackal, chairman of Sahrudaya Services and Charities, Swami Sivaswaroopananda, secretary of Advaithasramam, Aluva, M K Shakeer Maulavi, ISM secretary, Ernakulam district, and Mujbeer, Youth wing coordinator of SBY, participated in the function. SBY is convened by the Renewable Energy Centre, Mithradham, Chunangamveli, Aluva. The initiative is coordinated by Rajagiri Outreach of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences with the support of the government agencies. The leaders of various groups in Ernakulam district participated in the function.
