Swamy hits out at Home Minister on 2G scam

CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Thursday saidthat Union Home Minister P Chidambaram would soon be in jail for his involvement in the 2G spectrum case.After releasing his book on 2G spectrum here on Thursday, Swamy told reporters that very soon Union Textiles Minister Dayanidhi Maran and Chidambaram would be arrested in the case.Swamy said he had submitted the documents supporting Chidambaram’s involvement in the 2G spectrum scam in the Supreme Court, which held a hearing in this regard on May 13.“Based on the court’s advice, I submitted the copies of documents to the CBI,” he said, adding that the court would call for a special hearing on August 24. About his book, Swamy said he had dealt in detail about Chidambaram’sinvolvement in the scam with proof.
