The protagonist of 'Theni Mavattam', Suresh lost control of the car he was driving and left four people injured.
Only last week actor Navdeep of 'Arindhum Ariyamalum' and 'Aegan' fame was penalized by a Hyderabad court for alleged drunken driving.
And on Sunday, Suresh (25) alias Sriranjan, the protagonist of 'Theni Mavattam', lost control of the car he was driving and left four people injured. Also, his vehicle slammed into a motorcycle and two auto-rickshaws on Poonamallee High Road. He was arrested.
According to police, Suresh, a Visual communication student is presently producing a film on his own. He was returning home after shooting when the mishap occurred.
The injured include Anandan a police inspector, and his nephew Govardan, who were on the two-wheeler. While the two have been admitted to a private hospital.
