Two Die in Himachal House Collapse Due to Rain

Shimla: Two people dead and 5 injured after a house collapsed in Hatkoti area in Shimla following a landslide on Thursday.

Sources said, a mud house collapsed as heavy rain triggered the landslide, and debris fell on it.

For the last few days heavy rains coupled with landslides wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh. MeT department has predicted heavy rainfall and thundershowers across the state until August 2.

Public Works Department (PWD) officials and local police rushed to the spot.

Rescue operation is underway.
