Uma accuses BJP of indiscipline
Even though she behaved herself after being disowned by the BJP, Uma did accuse the BJP of indiscipline on account of publicising the showcause.

New Delhi: Coming up with another volley of vituperation, suspended BJP leader Uma Bharti targeted the BJP's central leadership.

With the BJP publicising the contents of the show-cause notice served on her, Bharti on Thursday accused the BJP leadership of "committing indiscipline."

"I don't know how to reply to the notice - before people or in a sealed envelop," Uma told reporters here, a day after the firebrand sanyasin was suspended from the party for her

"anti-party" activites.

"It was appropriate to announce that I have been served a notice by the parliamentary board. But, handing out the notice to the press.., doesn't it amount to indiscipline?," she said.

Pointing out that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and party President L K Advani had charged her with indiscipline before television cameras, Uma asked, "It was not indiscipline. But, when I reply to the charges, it becomes indiscipline."

On her close aide and former Union Minister Prahlad Patel's resignation from the party, she claimed Patel had resigned from the party despite her advice against it, as he was "upset over the developments."

The former Chief Minister claimed that she had asked the MLAs and other leaders, who were issued show-cause notices, to tender apologies.

"Some apologised, and others like Prahlad Patel sought otherwise," she said, adding Patel was upset over the developments (his suspension) and chose his way out.

Asked whether she planned similar move, Bharti said "I am BJP. BJP means the ideology of workers on the street. I consider the government (Madhya Pradesh) as my child and like a mother, I am trying to save it, without letting it to be harmed."
