Watch: Trailer of Anurag Kashyap's 'Michael'

New Delhi: Michael, a film produced by Anurag Kashyap is a psychological thriller set in Kolkata. The movie has Naseeruddin Shah as the lead actor. It is the directorial debut of Ribhu Dasgupta.

Ribhu assisted Kashyap on Gulaal. Michael revolves around a senior cop who gets falsely convicted and his relationship with his son. The movie has been entirely shot in Kolkata. The shooting for the film was finished in 40 days. Apart from Naseeruddin, Mahie Gill is also a part of the film.

In an interview lately, Ribhu said that Nasseruddin was his first choice for Michael, as it is a performance oriented film. Michael was also chosen for 36th Toronto Film Festival.
