Woman, Granddaughter Mowed Down By Innova in Noida

A 70-year old woman and her 15-year old granddaughter were crushed to death by a black Innova in a hit-and-run case on Wednesday evening. A third woman in her mid-30s was also injured and is recovering in the hospital.

The incident happened near Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida. According to the eyewitnesses, the car had a Haryana registration number, details of which have been given to the police.

This is the second hit-and-run case in Gautam Buddh Nagar area in four days. On April 17, a BMW hit three persons, killing one of them, in Noida Sector 24.
