Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday laid the foundation stone of the new Parliament building as part of an ambitious Central Vista plan in the national capital. The event was attended by around 200 dignitaries including leaders from various political parties, cabinet ministers, union ministers, ambassadors of different countries, and Ratan Tata, whose Tata Projects has the contract for the new parliament building.
