Last night saw the uber-lavish ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding. Celebrities from diverse backgrounds attended the grand event. In attendance from the south industry were stars including Mahesh Babu, Vignesh Shivan, Namrata Shirodkar and Jyothika among others. Stealing the limelight was Nayanthara, thanks to her ethereal beauty and traditional grace.
Nayanthara embraced simplicity in an off-white silk saree, screaming elegance from miles away. Draped in the exquisite six yards of elegance, the actress exuded ethnic grace, demanding all our attention. The actress, for the big day, trusted designer Anu Vardhan, grabbing the number from her collection. Accentuated with a golden border, the saree gave Nayanthara’s look a regal appeal. Flaunting her signature style, she teamed the traditional pick with a sleeveless blouse in a matching hue to create a cohesive and sophisticated style.
Not disappointing with her accessories either, Nayanthara wore a layered necklace accentuated with ivory pearl detailing, golden elements encrusted with pink stones and mirrorwork. Ditching heavy earrings, she decked up in a pair of matching studs reflecting her panache of minimalism. With a silver analog watch and dainty bracelet, she adorned her hands. Her little pink bindi is just the right amount of elegant touch needed to create a seamlessly perfect look.
Nayanthara’s glam game highlighted her penchant for the smokey eye look, characterised by a thick under-eye kajal and a dark, smudged shadow on her lids. With her deep eye makeup, she created a gradient effect that is both dramatic and enchanting, especially when combined with perfectly groomed brows. Further, the light pink shade of blush and subtle nude contouring was blended to seamless perfection; just how Nayanthara likes it.
Following the wedding ceremony of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani on July 12, a Shubh Aashirwad ceremony will be held today. The wedding reception or Mangal Utsav on July 14 will mark the pinnacle of the celebrations. That’s not all. A second reception party is scheduled for July 15, marking the end of celebrations.
