Adah Sharma has been an integral part of the entertainment industry. Starting her career with the horror film 1920 opposite Rajneesh Duggal, Adah appeared in several big films like Hasee Toh Phasee, Commando 2, Commando 3, and Bypass Road among others. Apart from Hindi films, the actress also ventured into the South industry. She was seen in Heart Attack, S/O Satyamurthy, and Kshanam.
Despite working in several big films, it was director Sudipto Sen’s 2023 drama film, The Kerala Story that took Adah’s career to new heights. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah the film was among the biggest successes of 2023 with a total Net Box official collection of approximately Rs 303 crore. The film also starred Yogita Bilani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani in pivotal roles.

- The film earned her massive popularity, recognition, and fame on social media. “I feel like a different person myself when people talk about me now,” Adah had said in an interview.
- Several film offers poured in. Earlier in an interview, Adah said, “After Kerala Story, there are a lot of things which I am doing, which are quite different. I am happy that filmmakers are seeing that I can do different roles.”
- Post the release of The Kerala Story, Adah appeared in the web series Sunflower 2 opposite Sunil Grover. The series was released on the OTT platform Zee5. The series was a hit and Adah garnered a lot of praise from the audience.
- Her next big release was again with director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah in Bastar: The Naxal Story, which was based on the Naxal insurgency in Chhattisgarh. Released on March 15 but failed to impress the audiences and did not perform well at the box office.
- Financial gains: Post the success of The Kerala Story several reports suggested that Adah had bought a flat in Mumbai in which late actor Sushant Singh Rajput used to stay before his death in 2020 in Bandra, Mumbai. Upon reacting to the rumours, Adah recently told HT, “For now I would just like to say that I live in everyone’s hearts. There’s a right time to speak. When I went to see the place, I was overwhelmed by the media attention. I am a private person, I love being in the public eye for my movies.”
- Recently, Adah gathered eyeballs with her stylish appearance at the premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi.
- Adah has also worked with celebs like Akshay Kumar in Karan Johar’s production Selfiee.
