Ali Abbas Zafar is gearing up for his next directorial Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which is releasing on April 10. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. Well, recently the makers released the trailer and it was appreciated by everyone. But it was Salman Khan’s praise that grabbed everyone’s attention. In an exclusive interview with Times of India, Ali Abbas Zafar opened up on the same and said that his message has just added more pressure.

Ali Abbas Zafar, who has worked with Salman Khan in Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat, said, “He just added to the pressure !!! ( laughs). I like making films for the big screen. BMCM is a big Eid release, so there is pressure of box office numbers. But there is a vision to the script, and the cast, crew and all producers have come together to make it a reality. And now when we see it, we feel we have something very special on our hands. I don’t even remember which was the last film you could go and watch with your kids .. it is designed for community viewing. It has been six years since I’ve not made a film for the big screen, but with this one, I’m feeling very very happy.”

Salman has reacted to the trailer on his Instagram handle and wrote, “‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, akki n tiger best of luck for the movie yeh bohut badi hit hogi . Loved the trailer and Ali u need to break tiger n sultan ka record with this one. Umeed hai ke Hindustan ko aap aur aap ko Hindustan Eidi dengein…”

In the same interview, he even praised Akshay and Tiger for their work ethics. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F and South superstar Prithviraj in key roles.

The trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan began with a glimpse of a terrorist attack on India’s military personnel. It then showed Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in their soldier avatar as they fought terrorism and sent out a stern warning saying, “Bachke rehna, Hindustan hai hum”. It also featured a glimpse of Prithviraj Sukumaran. He was seen sporting long hair in his black leather outfit and face covered with a mask.
