Ananya Panday has a strong connection with her childhood friends Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. The three are often seen together in public and frequently show their support for each other on social media. Recently, Ananya mentioned that, unlike her friends, she didn’t have any formal training before her debut. As the first one in the group to enter the industry, she observed that her friends, now starting their careers, seem more equipped to handle the media.
In a recent chat with Humans of Bombay, Ananya Panday opened up about her Bollywood journey and noted how it’s different from her friends who are just beginning their careers. “Everyone’s journey is so different…I am very happy with the time that I started. Whenever I see my friends starting out at 24-25, I feel that they are so well-prepared. They have done all their classes…They know how to deal with the media,” Ananya said.
Ananya Panday, who was last seen in the OTT series Call Me Bae, reflected on how her friends come more prepared to sets compared to her early days in Bollywood. While she’s happy with her journey so far, she believes she still has much to achieve. The actress also expressed gratitude for starting her career in 2019, noting that films like her debut, Student of the Year 2, might not be made in the same way post-pandemic.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday attended IIFA awards show in Abu Dhabi and opened up about her upcoming project CTRL, and the success of her web series Call Me Bae. Sharing her opinion on her latest cyber thriller film CTRL, Ananya said, “It is very very scary. I am very un tech savvy, I am quite clueless when it comes to AI but after doing this film and watching the film there was actually like ten minutes of silence in my house because it’s that impactful and scary. I Think when we started shooting the film, it felt like this is like a faraway reality, shayad future mein aisa hone wala hai but now when the film is releasing, we keep joking like it’s almost like a documentary.”
