Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia has deleted her Instagram account after she was trolled for her alleged surgeries. Recently, a photo of the actress went viral as fans claimed that she looked ‘unrecognisable’. Several netizens took to the comments to question the actress about any procedures she might have done. As such, she has deleted her social media.
Ayesha Takia took to Instagram recently to share a photo of herself in a blue and golden saree with pink-toned makeup. The actress left her hair open, with her bangs framing her face beautifully. However, several fans noted that she looked “unrecognisable” in her latest post. Ayesha’s Instagram page now reads, “Sorry, this page isn’t available”. While the actress has not admitted to going under the knife recently, netizens viewed her before and after photos as proof enough.
After the actress’ post had gone viral, many took to the comments and wrote about the noticeable changes in her facial features. One person wrote, “No way this Ayesha Takia.” They added, “I know she had done plastic surgery & had also seen her after surgery. But this post of her just randomly popped up on my Instagram discover feed & I couldn’t even recognise her.” Another added, “This is a real photo? How on earth?”
Earlier this year, she received backlash for her changed appearance when she was seen about town. The actress then shared a cryptic note that read, “You can’t control how people perceive your energy. Anything you do or say gets filtered through the lens of whatever they are going through at the moment, which is totally not about you.” She also shared a selfie and wrote, “Love and peace.”
Ayesha Takia came into the limelight after appearing in the Salman Khan-starrer action thriller film, Wanted. Although she has been away from the silver screen for many years now, she maintains an active social media following and her fans love to reminisce about her earlier films.
Ayesha Takia has appeared in many popular movies, including Taarzan The Wonder Car, Dil Maange More, Socha Na Tha, Shaadi No 1, Dor, and Pathshaala. Fans always praised her for her beauty and acting skills, but Ayesha disappeared from the film industry suddenly. According to reports, she moved away from the spotlight after getting married. Ayesha tied the knot with entrepreneur Farhan Azmi in 2009, whom she was rumoured to be dating since 2005. Ayesha Takia was only 23 years old when she married Farhan, a restaurateur in Mumbai. The actress welcomed a baby boy in 2013 and named him Mikail.
Ayesha was last seen in the Hindi-language romantic drama movie, Mod. The film was directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and also featured Rannvijay Singh, Raghubir Yadav, Tanvi Azmi, and Anant Mahadevan in pivotal roles. The movie hit the theatres on October 14, 2011.
